4. Share your goals, in this way you will receive motivation and support to reach them easier.

Some days don’t you have the sensation that you have not done anything during the more than 12 hours that you have been awake? It is because we just accomplish the 59% of the daily duties that we wanted to do.
The reason? We start our day by doing the activities that we enjoy leaving to the end the worst ones, so we find ourselves working endless days that we never seems to end. Besides, we do not distribute our hours properly and do not establish priorities.

The solution? Reed this Decalogue and apply it today.

1. You have to separate personal from work matters. It is better to apply the rule of 8 hours: 8 hours of work, 8 hours of entertainment, and 8 hours of rest.
2. Very important: prioritize. Not all the tasks are equally urgent you have to establish an order to your actions. Start with indispensable tasks and finish with the least important ones. In this way, if you don’t have time for everything, you will not be burdened with the fact that some of the important tasks were not completed.
3. Learn to say “no”. If you won’t have or be pressed with time it is better to say no. Everybody have their limits and you are not the exception to that.
4. Plan. Get an agenda to have everything under control and establish and order. In this way you will not miss anything.
5. Respect the time that you decide to dedicate to each thing. If you start to exceed your allocated time in each task, at the end you will not accomplish even half of your tasks.
6. Be punctual. In this way you will not have to leave later and you will not make others waste their time.
7. Avoid presenteeism. Being seated in your office for 12 hours does not mean that you are more productive.
8. Have Meetings just when they are necessary. If you can communicate decisions of change of plans by telephone or by e-mail it will be faster.
9. Establish a schedule for the meetings. In this way they will not last longer than needed and they will not produce delays in everybody’s daily work.
10. Replace business lunches by breakfast. This way it is possible to deal with the same subjects in half the time.

A lecturer when explaining stress management to an audience,
Raised a glass of water and asked
‘How heavy is this glass of water?’

Answers called out ranged from 20g to 500g.

The lecturer replied, ‘The absolute weight doesn’t matter.
It depends on how long you try to hold it.

If I hold it for a minute, that’s not a problem.

If I hold it for an hour, I’ll have an ache in my right arm.

If I hold it for a day, you’ll have to call an ambulance.

In each case, it’s the same weight, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes.’

He continued,

‘And that’s the way it is with stress management.

If we carry our burdens all the time, sooner or later,

As the burden becomes increasingly heavy,

We won’t be able to carry on. ‘

‘As with the glass of water,

You have to put it down for a while and rest before holding it again.

When we’re refreshed, we can carry on with the burden.’

‘So, before you return home tonight, put the burden of work down.!

Don’t carry it home.

You can pick it up tomorrow.

Whatever burdens you’re carrying now,

Let them down for a moment if you can.’

So, my friend, Put down anything that may be a burden to you right now.

Don’t pick it up again until after you’ve rested a while.

Here are some great ways of dealing with the burdens of life:

* Accept that some days you’re the pigeon,
And some days you’re the statue.

* Always keep your words soft and sweet,
Just in case you have to eat them.

* Drive carefully. It’s not only cars that can be
Recalled by their maker.

* If you can’t be kind, at least have the decency to be vague

* If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again,
It was probably worth it.

* It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to be kind to others.

* Never put both feet in your mouth at the same time,
Because then you won’t have a leg to stand on.

* Nobody cares if you can’t dance well.
Just get up and dance.

* Since it’s the early worm that gets eaten by the bird, sleep late.

* The second mouse gets the cheese.

* When everything’s coming your way,
You’re in the wrong lane.

* Birthdays are good for you.
The more you have, the longer you live.

* You may be only one person in the world,
But you may also be the world to one person.

* Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.

* We could learn a lot from crayons… Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull.
Some have weird names, and all are different colours, but they all have to live in the same box.

*A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour.

Before praying … FORGIVE
Before talking … LISTEN
Before writing … THINK
Before spending … EARN
Before giving up… TRY

Your words, your dreams and your thoughts have the power to create conditions in your life.
Whatever you talk about, you will get it.

If you continue saying that you do not bear your work, you can loose it.
If you continue saying that you do not bear your body, your body can fall sick.
If you continue saying that you do not bear you car, it can be stolen or can get broken.
If you continue saying that you are broken, do you know what? You will be always broken.
If you continue saying that you can not trust in men and women, you will always find somebody in your life that will hurt you or will betray you.
If you continue saying that you do not find work, you will continue unemployed.
If you continue saying that you can not find somebody to love and that trust you, your thoughts will attract more experiences confirming your beliefs.
Make your thoughts and your conversations more positives and save them with faith, hope, love and action.

*Do not be afraid to believe that you can have what you want and deserve*.
Observe your “Thoughts”. They will become in words.
Observe your “Words”. They will become in actions.
Observe your “Actions”. They will become in habits.
Observe your “Habits”. They will become in character.
Observe your “Character”. It will become in your “Destiny”.

Thus… To prevent any obstacle, get your own way!

Enjoy every minute of your life!

“If you do not like what you receive, review very well what you are living”.
